Formerly known simply as HOP!, Air France Hop is a subsidiary of Air France, the national carrier. Founded in 2012 and operating out of Lyon and Paris’ Charles de Gaulle airports, it serves mainly domestic destinations such as Lille, La Rochelle, Nice, Marseille and Bordeaux. A handful of short haul international destinations include European cities including Prague, Amsterdam, Budapest and Rome, whilst there are also limited flights to selected destinations in North Africa. In total, the airline operates around 180 flights per day, and connects 62 destinations. Air France Hop’s fleet is made up of Brazilian Embraer E190 and Embraer E170 aircraft.

In 2019, it was decided that the HOP! Brand would slowly be absorbed into Air France. Thus, whilst it still exists in principle, the airline’s aircraft are gradually being rebranded to Air France and all bookings are directed through the parent airline.
