Emerald Airlines

Headquartered in Dublin and with a hub in Belfast, Emerald Airlines is an Irish regional airline, recently founded in 2020. Operations began in 2022, and the airline now connects Irish and British destinations including Cork, Donegal, Belfast, Birmingham, London Gatwick, Edinburgh, Liverpool and Manchester. Many passenger routes have been recently expanded due to demand – for example in 2024, an additional 50,000 seats were opened up on the airline’s Cork to Glasgow route. Emerald Airlines also operates seasonal services to Brest in France and to Jersey, on behalf of British Airways. All other flights are all operated under the Aer Lingus regional franchise.

Emerald Airlines operate a fleet of 18 ATR 72-600 aircraft, which can seat up to 72 passengers and are designed specifically for short haul travel. As well as passenger services, Emerald Airlines operate private charter services for sports and group travel.
