This privately owned airline was established in 2012 with a very narrow focus – to transport tourists to Uganda’s national parks, the most important destinations for travellers visiting the country to catch a glimpse of rare mountain gorillas and other wildlife. Operations are based at Entebbe International Airport, the only international airport in Uganda, located just outside the capital, Kampala.

Destinations are almost exclusively within Uganda, with routes connecting tourists arriving to Kampala with Kisoro, Semliki, Bugungu, Kasese and other regional destinations acting as gateways to Uganda’s national parks. The airline also operates flights to Kisumu and the Masai Mara in neighbouring Kenya. Many routes are served daily, though flights tend to operate on a seasonal schedule. Aerolink Uganda operates a fleet of 11-seater Cessna Grand Caravans, which are the most suitable aircraft for navigating the short runways and remote locations of Uganda. Aerolink Uganda often collaborates with tour operators and travel agencies to create bespoke tour packages for visitors to Uganda.
