Founded in 2008, Aerolineas Estela is a predominantly regional Venezuelan airline, connecting the capital, Caracas, to important destinations in the country such as Barinas, San Cristobal, Porlamar, El Vigia, Guyana City and Maturin. The airline also operates extremely limited international routes, including to Santiago in Chile and Madrid in Spain, though these are operated by Iberojet. Caracas’ Simon Bolivar International Airport of Maiquetia serves as the airline’s hub and most important base. As well as passenger routes, Aerolineas Estela serves many routes in Latin America via a private charter service, and they also offer a dedicated pet service

The airline’s small fleet is made up of relatively aged Boeing models. Specifically, the airline operates two Boeing 737-300, one Boeing 737-400 and one much older Boeing 737-200 aircraft. A newer Airbus A350-900 serves the Madrid route three times per week.
