As the largest Greek airline and the country’s flag carrier, Aegean Airlines dominates the Greek airline market. With key hubs in Athens and the northern Greek city of Thessaloniki, as well as Larnaca International Airport in Cyprus, the airline serves predominantly European destinations including the UK, Spain, France, Italy, Cyprus, Croatia and Switzerland. There are daily flights to London, Amsterdam, Barcelona and elsewhere, and the airline also operates limited long-haul flights to destinations including Bangkok, Abu Dhabi, New York, Johannesburg, Sydney, Singapore and Shanghai. During the summer season, Aegean Airlines also operates limited charter flights between European destinations.

The airline’s more than 60 aircraft are all Airbus models, with the bulk of the fleet being made up of Airbus A320-200 and Airbus A320neo aircraft. Aegean Airlines is a member of the Star Alliance and operates a frequent flyer programme known as Miles+Bonus, allowing regular passengers to accrue miles on flights, gain access to lounges and enjoy other benefits.
